Millet is better than other, cheaper grains such as rye berries because its size maximizes the surface area for mycelium to grow. Our Substrate mixture contains the perfect ratio of premium manure, coco coir, vermiculite, and gypsum. Mycologists consider this blend the fastest colonizing mix on the market!
